As well if u have one the metal mossberg style heatshields that covers all sides of the barrel it prbly won%u2019t work with this forend. My heat-shield is fiber glass and only covers the top half of the barrel. When the magpul forend is installed it%u2019s an eighth of inch too tall and scrapes the bottom of the shield.
